Marjatta Itkonen
Graphic designer, Professor emerita. I graduated from Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and did my degree at Henryk Tomaszewski’s poster studio. I was 
a founder and a designer at Studio Viiva design agency for more than three decades. During my cadency at Aalto University, School of Art, Design and Architecture I was involved in many social design projects with MA students. Common Responsibility Campaign that is the biggest 
fund-raising campaign in Finland was our partner for many years. We also accomplished many projects in co-operation with the city of Helsinki. I have participated in many national and international poster events; being a jury member in Mexico and Warsaw also participated in social design poster workshops in France, Germany, Mexico, Slovenia, Poland 
and Belgium.
Ewa Satalecka
Graphic designer Scenographer focused on typography based communication. 1959 born April 7th Sosnowiec, Poland. 1984 MA diploma at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. Chair of Graphic Art in Katowice, in Book Design Studio and annex in Intaglio Printing. 2005 PhD in the Chair of Graphic Art on the ASP (Academy of Fine Arts) in Katowice. 2012 Habilitation – Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw The head of the New Media Art Department of The Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology in Warsaw, co-curator of numerous international conferences and workshops honor ambassador of Polish Congresses.
Beata Czajkowska
A founding member of two Kraków-based foundations, Fundacja Sztuki Nowej ZNACZY SIĘ and Fundacja Miasto Literatury, dedicated to promoting literature, graphic arts and book design. She is currently chairperson of the Fundacja Sztuki Nowej ZNACZY SIĘ. Her managerial skills and love for completing difficult projects – currently including producing poetry festivals, stimulating readership and supporting art education for children – were developed while working for a non-governmental organization in Bangladesh. Prior to Bangladesh, she spent over twenty years living and studying politics and governments in the United States. She holds degrees in political science from Rutgers University (BA, 1990) and University of Maryland at College Park (PhD, 1999).
David Scully
An American economist, is director of research at Fundacja Sztuki Nowej ZNACZY SIĘ (Kraków). He worked (1980-2005) with the U.S. Department of Agriculture in Washington on the problems of food security and food aid in developing countries, agricultural policies and international trade agreements and disputes; and continues to work on these issues as a consultant for the Food and Agricultural Organization of the U.N. (FAO, Rome). He has taught at Universities in Slovakia, Poland and Bangladesh, where he was a Senior Fulbright Scholar (2006/07). Skully holds a BA in history from Reed College (1978) and a PhD in economics (1990) from George Mason University. He lives in Kraków.
Monika Rogowska-Stangret
Theorist, researcher and translator in the fields of philosophy, gender studies and posthumanism. She is a postdoctoral researcher in the Institute of Philosophy, University of Warsaw and teaches at the Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. She is the author of – among other things – 
a book “The Body – Beyond Otherness and Sameness. Three Figures of the Body in Contemporary Philosophy” (2016, in Polish) and co-editor of essay collection “Feminist New Materialisms: Situated Cartographies” (2018, in Polish). She received scholarships from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Poland, European Cooperation in Science and Technology (COST), Action IS 1307, WUS Austria and ERSTE Stiftung in the frames of „PATTERNS Lectures”, and Kościuszko Foundation. Grażyna Cieślak
Grażyna Cieślak - since 2007, she has been associated with 
a unit of the City of Warsaw appointed to organize 
a participatory process of social strategy creation. After its adoption by the Council of Warsaw she has been a member of the steering committee of the Social Strategy of Warsaw. She provides for coordination of social policy and supports implementation of the social strategy. Cooperates with experts and academics dealing with wide range of topics concerning the socio-economic situation in Warsaw. 
She also participated in the creation of many other planning documents of Warsaw. She had also worked in a nongovernmental organization as a coordinator of an international program and a Polish network of NGOs active in the field of social integration.

Lech Uliasz
A manager of the cooperation and social projects unit in the Intergenerational Activity Centre in Warsaw. In his daily work he’s encouraging and empowering new senior citizens initiatives and also he’s cooperating with local NGOs in order to improve a quality of life of older persons in Warsaw. Since 2012 Lech has been employed in the City of Warsaw where he coordinated various innovative national and international projects dedicated to senior citizens. He was also responsible for the preparation of the EU founded projects which combine ICT and the home care for dependent persons. He has graduated from Applied Social Sciences at University of Warsaw and in 2018 he received a diploma in service design at SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities (in cooperation with the School of Form).
Agata Czarnacka
Agata Czarnacka (b. 1981) - Polish philosopher, feminist and opinion journalist. One of the organizers of the Black Protests in Warsaw. Between 2012 and 2015 she worked as a policy advisor to Polish Social Democratic party. Then she took up to the streets to protest conservative policies of the PiS government. She works as a project coordinator with Fundacja Izabeli Jarugi-Nowackiej, known for linking left political thought with feminisism. She has also translated appr. 15 books, including Levinas, Latour, Butler and Piketty.
Michał Nauman
Data scientist; Artificial Intelligence engineer. I graduated from University of Warsaw (Faculty of Economic Sciences) and University of Amsterdam (Amsterdam School of Economics) where I researched monetary economics and modelling theory. Now, I am working towards MSc/PHD degree in artificial intelligence at University of Amsterdam (Faculty of Informatics), where I work on computational intelligence and deep learning theory. During my practice as 
a consultant for PwC Data Analytics practice I have successfully deployed multiple complex data structures for international banking and insurance entities like Societe Generale, GE Money Bank and ING. During my talk, I will try to show how artificial intelligence will enhance the labour market in the foreseeable future.
Tatiana Toutikian
Based in Beirut, Tatiana graduated with an MA from Aalto University in Helsinki with a focus in New Media the Media Lab Helsinki, Finland and has previously worked for Frog (Shanghai), Hello Ruby (Helsinki), the MENA Design Research Center (Beirut) and organized the biggest design festival in the Middle East - Beirut Design Week with critical themes for the past two years (Lebanon). She has then worked on several projects for clients such as Unicef, GSM Mobile, Audi and taught at several universities in the Middle East as a visiting instructor. Tatiana speaks at conferences and conducts workshops on the marriage of design fiction and future interactions. Her solo exhibitions and interventions have been featured in Monocle Radio, Design Indaba, Dezeen, DesignBoom, and the Future Laboratory among others.

Yadzia Williams
Yadzia Williams is a Senior Lecturer in the Creative Arts at The North Wales School of Art and Design in Wrexham Glyndwr University in North Wales. She was born in a Polish Camp in North Wales to Polish and Czech immigrants and graduated from Canterbury College of Art in Design Communication. She has worked as an illustrator and educator for over 40 years. Currently teaching on the BA (Hons) Illustration, Illustration for Children’s Publishing and Graphic Novels program and MA Art Practice and MA Design Practice. She sees herself as an image maker working mainly through the medium of Printmaking with a passion for creating handmade books.
Jan Bajtlik
Jan Bajtlik (born 1989) freelance graphic designer and illustrator based in Warsaw. Currently working for 
Hermès Paris designing scarves, textiles, ceramics, wallpapers, typography and window displays.
Anna Eichler
Anna graduated from the Faculty of Painting of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. She teaches the Basics of Image at the Graphic Design Department of PJAIT New Media Arts Faculty – a course in drawing and painting. She also works in didactic field organising creative workshops. Her artworks were exhibited in Poland, Romania, Moldova and Holland. She specializes in oil painting, but she also works in various techniques on paper and paints murals. Sebastian Trzoska MA (graduate trainee). Graduated from the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at the University of Art in Poznań (major in drawing). Currently works as an volunteer assistant at drawing studio XIII lead by dr Adam Nowaczyk at UAP in Poznań and also teaches the Basics of Image at the Graphic Design Department of PJAIT New Media Arts Faculty – a course in drawing and painting. He began doctoral studies in 2016 at the Faculty of Painting and Drawing at UAP in Poznań. He's main field of research is drawing and it's abillity in capturing an empty space/vacuum. His artworks were exhibited in Poland and abroad. "Drawing is not a technique or a mean of art, it's a way of thinking".
Markus Pretnar
Prof. Markus Pretnar studied architecture at the Technical University Darmstadt. After one year as freelance designer in Warsaw/Poland and several cooperations (MMZ-Architects, Designafairs, Escape-Germany etc.) He joined the inter-disciplinary design team 3deluxe in Wiesbaden. Here, the overlapping of genres has shaped his attitude in the training of future interior designers: In a team of specialists from different fields, interior designers are the experts for space, atmosphere and materials, and as such they have to assert themselves. Anil Demir
Anil Demir is a game designer and developer. He developed and researched on video games between 2014-2018 actively and worked in a mobile game studio as 
a Technical Artist for 3 years. He is an instructor of game design and development at Polish-Japanese Academy of Information Technology. Founded Fateshift Studio in 2018.
Laura Federeci
Laura Federici Visual Artist and an Architect. She has her Architecture Degree from La Sapienza and is 
a Professor at IED, The Istituto Europeo di Design in Rome. She is also part of the Faculty at the Academy of Fine Arts in Frosinone, where she teaches Graphic Design. In the past 15 years she has had Solo Exhibits in places as far as Aleppo, Syria, Hanoi and Ho Chi Min City in Vietnam, Changzhoq, China, Karachi, Pakistan, and then a little closer in London, N.Y.C, Paris and a string of cities throughout Italy. 
She created 12 animated sequences for the film “Un Amore” by Gianluca Tavarelli, which won the Nice-New York-San Francisco Film Festival Award in the year 2000.
Architect specialized in experimental architecture and urban space design. Member of the Architecture studio ma0 / Emmeazero which deals with both projects of architecture, that of exhibition and scenographic installations, multimedia communication and representation of the project. Alongside the activity of designer of architecture and installations to that of landscape design. Lecturer and designer convinced that architecture is a medium between various disciplines closely related to art Professor in Design Methodology, Urban Design and Graphic Design at the Academy of Fine Arts of Frosinone. Valentina De Mateo
Anc as a designer is attracted to the practical side of design, and believes that the work she does has the power to bring change and make others’ lives easier. Therefore, her interest focuses on reimagining health and public sector. Her wide range of design interests consists complex problem solving, innovation, design ethics and philosophy. She likes to approach any new project as a person who knows nothing, and from there strives to reach a complete understanding of what it is she’s trying to accomplish. Through this process, she’s constantly trying to find the substance in things, because that’s where the truth in the matter lies, and for her, good design is all about showing this truth to the world. Attended Aalto University in Helsinki (MA Degree), Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI, Pedagogical University of Cracow (BA Degree) and the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Several years experience in graphic design, joined Fjord in 2015 in Helsinki, and moved to Fjord Berlin in 2016.
